Quranic Ayah Inserter & Search Tool

Before You Begin

Quran Data Version:
First, choose your preferred Quran Data version from the dropdown at the top. This selection sets the appropriate fonts for the Preview and Insertion Output boxes and determines the proper Bismillah text.

Using the Tool

Select & Insert Tab:

• Select whether to work by Parah or Surah.
• You can use the search field to filter the list of Parahs or Surahs.
• Select an item from the list; the start and end Ayah numbers will be auto-populated.
• If needed, adjust the Ayah range manually and click Insert to insert the selected Ayahs.

Search & Insert Tab:

• Enter your search query in the search box (supports Urdu/Arabic digits).
• If you want an exact match, check Match Whole Word Only.
• Click Search to display matching Ayahs.
• Select a result to view its preview in the Preview box.
• Click Insert to insert only the previewed Ayah, or click Insert All Results with Reference to insert all matching Ayahs (this button is enabled only when results exist and forces the Include Reference option).

Other Options:

• Add Bismillah: When checked, the tool prepends the appropriate Bismillah text. In Indo-Pak mode it adds بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ; in Uthmanic mode it adds بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ.
• Add Ornate Parenthesis: Wraps the Ayah text in decorative parentheses.
• Include Reference: Appends the Surah name and Ayah number to the Ayah text.
• Remove Diacritics: Strips diacritic marks from the text.
• Clean Arabic text: Removes unwanted characters while preserving line breaks.
• Changes to these options update the Preview box immediately.
